As more of the critical software services business relies on are categorized as “Open Source Software” (OSS), the business process optimization of operational “qualification” and “verification” take on a new meaning.
From the IT perspective, there are two burdensome questions to answer.
- Should OSS be trusted as they have trusted proprietary enterprise software?
- How can an installation of OSS be declared as qualified and verified for correctness?
